Play
Getting Started

Creating your account

Getting started with Play takes about a minute. Sign up, create your first workspace, and you’re ready to start building.

Go to play.fast and sign up using one of the following methods:

  • Google - Sign in with your Google account

  • Slack - Sign in with your Slack account

  • Microsoft - Sign in with your Microsoft account

Enterprise organizations can also sign up via SSO/SAML if configured by their admin.

Set up your workspace

After signing up, Play walks you through creating your first workspace. This is where everything your team builds will live: apps, co-workers, collections, knowledge, and chats.

Give your workspace a name. You can rename it later, and then you’re in.

Your home screen

Once inside, you’ll land on your Home page. You’ll see:

  • Getting started checklist - A set of guided steps to help you explore Play’s core features, from connecting your first integration to building your first app. Each step takes just a few minutes.

  • Chat input - The input bar at the bottom of your screen. This is where you talk to Play. Type anything to get started.

  • Pinned apps - As you build, your most-used apps show up here.

What to do first

The onboarding checklist is the fastest way to get oriented. It walks you through:

  1. Connecting your first integration

  2. Automating a repetitive task

  3. Inviting team members

  4. Building your first app

  5. Sharing your first app

  6. Onboarding your organizational context

  7. Creating your first AI co-worker

Each step is independent. Skip around based on what’s most relevant to your team.

Try it: Start with “Build your first app” in the checklist. Describe something simple your team needs and watch Play build it.
