Groups let you organize workspace members and manage access at scale.

Types of groups

Type

Purpose

Project group

Organize people around a specific project or initiative.

User group

Organize people by department, function, or any shared characteristic.

Using groups for access

Instead of inviting individuals one by one, you can share apps and resources with a group. Everyone in the group gets access.

This is useful when you want to share department-specific apps with a group like Marketing, give a project app to a group like Project Phoenix, or manage access centrally instead of per app.

Managing groups

Admins can create groups, add members, and manage membership from workspace settings.

Each group has a name and description.

Group membership

Each member in a group has a role within that group: admin or member.

Group membership is visible to workspace admins.

SCIM sync on Enterprise

On Enterprise, groups can be synced with SCIM. This helps larger organizations keep group membership aligned with their identity system.
