Using integrations in chat
The easiest way to use an integration is to tag it in a chat. Type / followed by the integration name.
How to tag
In any chat, type / to open the integration browser. Search for or select the integration you want. This tells Play to use that tool in the current conversation.
Examples:
"Pull our revenue data from
/stripefor the last 30 days""Create a new page in
/notionwith our meeting notes""Search
/apollofor VP-level contacts at SaaS companies in the US""Send a message to #general in
/slackwith today's standup summary"
What you can do
Once an integration is tagged, you can ask Play to:
Read - "Show me the last 10 emails from
/gmail"Write - "Add a row to
/google-sheetswith this data"Search - "Find all tickets in
/zendeskassigned to me"Analyze - "How much revenue did we process through
/stripethis quarter?"Act - "Send a Slack message to #sales with the deal summary"
Multiple integrations
You can tag multiple integrations in the same message:
"Pull data from
/google-sheetsand/stripe, then compare them""Find contacts in
/apolloand add them to/hubspot"
Tips
The integration must be connected first. If it's not connected, Play will let you know.
You only need to tag an integration once per chat. After that, Play remembers it's available for the rest of the conversation.
Be specific about what you want to do. "Use Stripe" is vague. "Show me Stripe revenue by month for Q1" gives Play a clear task.
