Inviting team members
Invite people to your Play workspace so they can build, use apps, and collaborate with your team.
Invites can be sent from any app or from workspace settings. New people are added to the workspace as part of the invite flow.
Invite from an app
Open any app.
Click the share icon in the top right corner.
Enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite.
Choose their role before sending the invite.
If the person is not already a workspace member, Play invites them to the workspace as part of the process.

Admins can also invite people from workspace settings.
What invitees get
Invitees get access to the workspace and any apps shared with them. Depending on their role, they can also build apps, create co-workers, and use workspace features.
Roles
Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
Admin | Full workspace control: member management, billing, settings, plus everything Members can do. |
Member | Build apps, create co-workers, manage data, and access shared resources. |
Seat costs
On the Team plan, each new member costs $35/month or $29/month on annual billing.
On an Individual plan, inviting someone to an app also invites them to the workspace. If they are new, Play shows the seat cost before you confirm the invite.
Play always shows the cost implications before you confirm an invite.
Pending invites
If someone has not accepted yet, they appear in the Invited section of the sharing panel.
You can resend an invite individually or use Resend All to notify everyone at once.
